Family Word Game · how to remove your account and personal data.
What we store
The game keeps only what's needed to play with your group:
- Your username (the alias you chose) and avatar colour
- Your group name and invite code
- Your timezone (so the daily round opens at the right time)
- Your game activity: answers you wrote, votes, and scores
- A notification token, only if you turned on notifications
We don't collect your email, phone number, location, or any payment information.
1. Remove this device
Tap below to sign out and erase the game's data stored on this device (your saved session and local preferences). This does not remove your answers from your group's history on the server — use step 2 for that.
2. Delete your account & server data
To permanently delete your member account and all your data (answers, votes, scores, and notification token) from our servers, use the in-app option below.
Fastest: delete from within the app. Open Family Word Game, find Delete my account & data in the menu, then confirm. Your account is removed immediately.
Can't access the app? Use the contact details in our Privacy Policy to request deletion. Include your display name and group invite code so we can find the right account; we'll remove it within 30 days.
